"Unsafe Speed" Cause Of Rear-End Collision On Highway 49

The CHP reports that one person was hurt in a rear-end collision on Highway 49 near Pool Station Road. The accident happened Saturday morning around 9:30. The CHP reports that 21-year-old Camille Inocencio of San Andreas was driving Northbound on Highway 49 and slowed down in anticipation of making a left turn onto Pool Station Road. She was hit from behind by a vehicle driven by Anthony Corrado of Valley Springs. The CHP report states that Corrado was traveling at an “unsafe speed”. Inocencio sustained minor injuries and was transported to Mark Twain Medical Center for treatment. Corrado was not injured.
