National Weather Service Extends Red Flag Warning For Foothills

The National Weather Service has extended a red flag warning for the foothills through Wednesday. A red flag warning means critical fire conditions caused by a combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures. According to the weather service, the combination of offshore winds and dry airmass are producing the current weather conditions and any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Again the red flag warning will be in effect through Wednesday morning.
