Local Woman And Daughter Suffer Major Injuries In Recent Crash 

A woman and her 4 year old daughter suffered major injuries in a late afternoon vehicle accident yesterday. According to the CHP, just after 4PM, Wilseyville resident, Jessica Fox was driving westbound on Highway 26, West of Toloma Court at an undetermined speed. For unknown reasons, Fox allowed the vehicle to travel off the road and onto the north dirt shoulder, colliding with a tree. Fox was able to exit the vehicle and with assistance from passing motorists, was able to remove her daughter from the rear seat of the vehicle. According to the CHP, drugs and/or alcohol are not suspected to be a factor in this collision. The incident is still under investigation.
