Andrea Macon Declares Candidacy For Amador's District 5 Seat

Andrea Macon, a Rural Pine Grove resident, today officially declared her candidacy for the District 5 seat on the Amador County Board of Supervisors.  Macon, 48, grew up on a cattle ranch in Alfalfa, Oregon, and has lived in Amador County for 22 years.  She is a former owner-operator of a Mailboxes Etc. franchise and works as a technology consultant and marketing director, and is a long-time community volunteer.  A past president of the Lockwood Fire Protection District board, Macon acknowledged that District 5 faces a variety of challenges that must be addressed with limited resources.  This requires setting spending priorities and ensuring that county government is responsive, accountable, and efficient.   Macon says she plans to knock on every door in District 5 and introduce herself to people and give everyone an opportunity to tell her about their history here, their concerns about the present, and their hopes for the future of our County.   To learn more about Macon, visit AndreaforAmador.com.
