MEASURE A, THE SCHOOL BOND LOOKS TO BE HEADED FOR DEFEAT.  IT HAS A BARE MAJORITY OF “YES” VOTES 5,969 TO 5,824, BUT IS FALLING SHORT OF THE 55% MARGIN IT NEEDS TO PASS.

IN RACES FOR SCHOOL BOARD, DISTRICT 1 INCUMBENT KANDI THOMPSON LEADS JOHN ELLYSON 1,196 VOTES TO 888. DEBORAH PULSKAMP LEADS SHANE ALDERSON BY JUST TWO VOTES 1,168 TO 1,166. IN DISTRICT 3 CHALLENGER JAMES MARZANO LEADS INCUMBENT BOB LAURENT 1,137 VOTES TO 861.

SUSAN PETERS LEADS THE RACE FOR AMADOR WATER AGENCY BOARD OF DIRECTORS DISTRICT 4 WITH 822 VOTES. STACY MARTINEZ AND ROBERT YARDLEY TRAIL WITH 742 AND 673 VOTES, REPECTIVELY.

IN THE RACE FOR THREE IONE CITY COUNCIL SEATS INCUMBENTS DOMINIC ATLAN WITH 768 VOTES, DAN EPPERSON WITH 736 AND CHALLENGER STACY RHOADES WITH 577 VOTES APPEAR TO HAVE WON SEATS. APPOINTED INCUMBENT LAURIE LORD WITH 554 AND DAN TRAXLER WITH 388 VOTES TRAIL.

IN THE CONTEST FOR TWO PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL SEATS, PETER AMORUSO AND VALERIE KLINEFELTER LEAD WITH 150 AND 110 VOTES, REPECTIVELY, WHILE SANDY KYLES TRAILS WITH 95 VOTES.

THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF VOTE BY MAIL BALLOTS LEFT TO COUNT, AND IT COULD CHANGE THE RESULTS OF SOME OF THE CLOSER RACES.
