Cars & Ribs

The Rotary Club of Amador Upcountry is inviting the community to a day of cars, barbecue, crafts, and live music at Pioneer Park in Buckhorn Ridge.  The Car Show and BBQ Throwdown in the Park is coming up Saturday, September 19th, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Pioneer Park, off Buckhorn Ridge Road.  The event will feature a car show, rib cook-off, craft vendors, and live music by Triple Threat.  Car registration is 25 dollars, with prizes being awarded for some of the best entries.  Craft vendors can register for 35 dollars, with a donation of a craft item required for the Rotary raffle.  And if you think you make the best ribs in town, registration for the rib cook-off is 25 dollars, with prizes for the best ribs.   For more information or registration applications, contact Denise Benson at 408-234-7837.   That’s the Rotary Club of Amador Upcountry’s Car Show and BBQ Throwdown in the Park this Saturday, at Pioneer Park in Buckhorn Ridge.
