Sutter Creek to Make Selection

The Sutter Creek City Council has begun the interview process for potential city manager candidates. Following a special meeting Monday afternoon, the council is moving forward with its search for a new city manager. After a brief regular meeting, council members went into closed session to interview candidates for the position. Current City Manager Tom DuBois announced his retirement in July, effective December 31st, after three years with the city. The council is expected to make a decision on his successor at its next regular meeting, scheduled for November 2nd. In other business, the council approved an amendment to the city’s CalPERS contract involving a two-percent cost-sharing arrangement for employee retirement benefits.
