Derby Wraps Up Fair

The engines roared and the grandstands were packed Sunday night as the 2026 Amador County Fair came to a close with one of its most anticipated traditions—the annual Destruction Derby.  After a night of hard hits, spinning metal, and cheering fans, Jacob Baca, driving car number 24, outlasted the competition to claim the 2026 Destruction Derby Championship.  Ryan Erosa, behind the wheel of car number 357, finished in second place, while Logan Julian, driving A-10, earned a third-place finish. Allie Baker, in car number 86, took fourth, and Artie Tressler, driving car number 4, rounded out the top five.  The Destruction Derby once again capped off a successful Amador County Fair, drawing enthusiastic crowds and providing an action-packed finale to four days of livestock shows, exhibits, carnival rides, entertainment, and family fun. Congratulations to Jacob Baca and all of this year's competitors for putting on an exciting show and bringing another memorable chapter to one of the Amador County Fair's most popular events.
